ICANN’s Decision Makers

The ICANN Board is comprised of 16 voting members. Click here to see the list and information that is available about them from either the ICANN website or elsewhere on the web. No doubt this is a very impressive group of people. That’s what makes one wonder why they insist, despite the growing outcry against the introduction of hundreds of new TLDs from across virtually every stakeholder community, that their decisions are supported by consensus. Such a conclusion is completely unsupportable. So maybe they’re just not listening. Or maybe they don’t understand that there are far too many problems with security, infringement, and predatory behavior that will only get worse with more TLDs from which scams and crimes can be committed. Or maybe they really don’t care.
